Bentley Flying Spur Rolled Out: Price In India Rs.3.1 Crore

British auto giant Bentley, on Tuesday, rolled its much awaited sedan ‘Flying Spur’ out of the stables to set the asphalt in India ablaze. The luxury car comes with a price label that bears the figure Rs.3.1 Crore (ex-showroom Delhi). It was showcased at International Geneva Motor Show held in March this year. According to Bentley, the car delivers an ultimate motoring experience not only to the driver but also to passengers.

The New Flying Spur is powered by a 6.0-litre Twin Turbo charged W12 engine that is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. It generates maximum power of 616 BHP at 6,000 rpm and peak torque of 800Nm at 1,700 rpm. The car can touch 100kmph mark in just 4.6 seconds with its top speed being 320kmph. The car will take you through a distance of 6.8 kms for every litre of fuel it consumes.

Bentley’s latest offering to Indian market has been carved out carefully. It has a sharp body shape with smooth curves. It is also much lighter than its predecessor which implies better performance. Even the overall drag coefficient has lowered to 0.29. It has bi-xenon headlights fitted with LEDs that run during the day. Rear lamps are full LED with an ellipse inside an ellipse effect. Wipers on windscreen capable of sensing rain, doors with power latches, oval chrome exhaust finisher, rear diffuser, electronic tyre pressure monitors (TPMS) are some of the features. The interiors have been hand-crafted out of premium hides. The seats have been redesigned. There are electrically operated blinds for rear windows. The infotainment system has an 8-inch high resolution touch screen. The display also helps in navigation, parking, displays TPMS and suspension settings. Climate control is multi-zone and automatic.
