Samsung Galaxy Camera Pre-Orders Take Off In India. Claim This Android-Powered Beauty Now!

Samsung India has initiated the pre-orders for its latest Android baby in the Galaxy family- the Samsung Galaxy Camera. Powered by Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), the camera features a 16MegaPixel camera and packs in a free 16GB microSD card for people pre-ordering the device from the official Samsung website.

The company’s e-store demands a booking amount of INR 3,000 for the camera, with the remaining payment to be settled within three days of the product’s launch. Cash-on-delivery option is not on tap. People who do not pay the remainder within three days shall not be receiving the free 16GB microSD card, and also those who fail to pay up the same within 15 days will have to forfeit their entire pre-booking amount. The advance bookers shall be receiving an email from Samsung India as a notification to their product’s availability. (The same technique was employed in pre-orders of some of Samsung’s recent products- Galaxy SIII, Galaxy Note II and Galaxy Note 800).

Samsung Galaxy Camera features a 4.8″ touchscreen and is compatible with all apps gettable at Google Play marketplace. It derives its power out of a 1,650mAh battery and runs on a 1.4GHz quad-core processor having 1GB RAM. For connectivity, the device supports Wi-Fi, and even has a sim-slot for 3G needs. The snapper features a BSI CMOS sensor and enjoys a digital and optical zoom of 21x each. Features like optical image stabilisation and auto-focus have been smartly included.
