Chennai-based motorcycle manufacturer Royal Enfield has officially launched the Bullet 500 in India for a meaty INR 1,53,855/- (on-road, Delhi), boasting some amazing features like a 500 cc carburetted UCE, front disc brakes, 130mm telescopic front suspensions complimenting the gas-filled shock absorbers, new pillion grab-rail with a cushion end and single-touch electric start among others. The headlamp is the same but now resides a halogen bulb for better illumination. For the first ever time, the Bullet 500 shall come in Forest Green color along with its signature Classic Black variant.
Apart from these the Bullet 500 has got MRF Zapper front tires rendering better stability on road, a beautiful headlight casing that attributes the twin pilot lamps (better known as the ‘Tiger Eye Lamps’) and an RE Winged badge in silver and gold dual tone.
The launch shall happen in phases across the country. Firstly the bike shall be made available in cities of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Kerala where Bullet enjoys a great market.
