Micromax Canvas Turbo A250 In Pipeline: MMX’s First Full HD Smartphone?

Indian mobile major Micromax is working on its first full HD smartphone, according to ‘everything Micromax’ tweeter MMXNewscaster. Micromax Canvas Turbo A250 would have a full HD display and will be driven by a quad-core processor says the tweeter.

What specifications will this Micromax device pack is not known which means we have lots of rumours. The first and foremost is that it will support Android v4.3 (Jelly Bean) OS. Word is that a Quad-Core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM will power this smartphone. Other features expected are 5.7-inch display, twin cameras- 13-megapixel primary snapper on the rear side and a 5-megapixel secondary shooter on the front, 16GB of inbuilt memory space (externally expandable up to 32GB) among others. As are the characteristics of the Canvas devices launched in recent past you can either blow on the screen or simply shake the handset to unlock.

The design is also expected to be different than that of its predecessors Canvas A240 launched in August. Canvas A240 or Canvas Doodle 2 is a dual SIM (GSM+GSM) device that holds a 5.7-inch capacitive touch display. It is powered by a quad-core processor and runs on Android v4.2. The smartphone has 12GB of inbuilt memory space and is equipped with 12MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera.

Micromax is also going to release Android 4.3 for its Canvas A210, Doodle A240 and Canvas A116 HD soon. It is speculated that the mystery phone A250 will be launched during that time.
