Micromax has officially floated the new addition to its Canvas series, the A110Q dubbed as ‘Canvas 2 plus’. As per the tagline it’s the faster version of their fastest selling phone- [highlight]Canvas 2 A110[/highlight]. Canvas 2+ can be owned at Rs.12,100.
The Smartphone owes its speed to a 1.2 GHz Quad-Core processor as opposed to the 1 GHz Dual-Core processor that powers Canvas 2. The RAM has been stepped up to 1GB. Talking of enhancements, it is OS-wise too. Canvas 2+ runs on Android v4.2 while Canvas 2 runs Android v4.0.
Canvas 2 plus, however, takes its display from its predecessor. It’s the same 12.7 cms capacitive multi-touch IPS screen. The Dual-SIM A110Q is also a dual-camera device. The Primary Camera is still 8-Megapixel though the secondary camera has been upgraded to 2-Megapixel which means enhanced video calling experience as compared to Canvas 2.
The A110Q is fueled by a 2,000 mAh battery with an extended standby time of 280 hours (the A110 with 2,000 mAh battery provided 225 hours) and 6 hours of talk time.
It offers 4GB of internal storage expandable up to 32GB courtesy a microSD card. Connectivity options include 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth v4.0, USB 2.0 and GPS. The Canvas 2+ comes packed with M!Live, M!Zone+, HookUp and a host of other applications.
