According to Manohar Bhat, Vice President (Marketing), Maruti Suzuki continuously works to offer products that are high on fuel efficiency and low on overall cost of ownership. With a factory fitted CNG system, the Ertiga Green is another step to meet the needs of Maruti Suzuki’s customers.
The MPV’s CNG variant will be sold in places where CNG infrastructure is available including parts of Andhra Pradesh, Delhi NCR, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Mumbai, Pune and Uttar Pradesh.
Ertiga Green is the auto maker’s sixth vehicle with factory fitted CNG kits. Alto, Eeco, Estilo, SX4 and WagonR are the other vehicles on the list.
Ertiga Green’s launch is also seen as Maruti Suzuki’s attempt to boost up sales after their total sales slipped by 14.4 per cent in the month of May.
