Lava Floats Gesture Controlled Iris 504Q At Rs 13,499/-

Smartphone giants Lava International floated motion gesture controlled ‘Iris 504Q’ with a price tag of Rs.13,499/- The device will be up for grabs from the fourth week of June across India.

The Smartphone is powered by MediaTek’s MT6589 Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz. It runs on Android v4.2 (Jelly Bean) and comes packed with 1GB of RAM. The device offers 4GB of internal memory and can be expanded externally up to 32GB via a microSD card.

The Iris 504Q sports a 5-inch IPS display with OGS technology and 1280×720 pixel resolution. This is a dual camera device with an 8-Megapixel primary camera and a 2-Megapixel secondary camera for video calling. A 2,000 mAh battery fuels the smartphone. Connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth v4.0 and USB. Lava International clocked a turnover of Rs.965 Crores last fiscal. The handset maker sold over 9,00,000 units last month and hopes to touch 15,00,000 in October.

Mr.Hari Om Rai, Co-founder and director of the company informed that the mobile manufacturer was struggling to keep up with the demand ever-increasing. He also added that Lava has already established itself as the largest Indian mobile company in Nepal and intends to expand into other geographies. He said that Lava believed in enhancing consumer experience while providing them with efficiency and help them meet their needs. The Iris 504Q is a technologically competitive product available at a smart price.
