While HTC connoisseurs await the arrival of the Desire 500 ([highlight]read more[/highlight]) unveiled in Taiwan, yesterday, its predecessor Desire 600 is here. The Smartphone has hit Indian shores with a price tag of Rs.26,990 attached to it. This dual-SIM device was first introduced in May this year. Speaking on the launch Faisal Siddiqui, Country Head at HTC India said-
“The HTC Desire 600 dual sim combines speed and easy multitasking with the truly innovative HTC BlinkFeed home screen. The result is an affordable mid-range phone that sets the standard for its class, keeping the busiest user up-to-date at a glance and offering them the power and range of features to switch between work and play.”
The Desire 600 is driven by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 Quad-Core processor along with 1GB RAM and Adreno 203 GPU. The phone offers an in-built memory of 8 GB expandable externally via a microSD card up to 64GB. It holds a 4.5-inch Super-LCD2 display (with 960×540 pixels resolution, 245 ppi). It comes equipped with an 8-Megapixel camera on the rear side and a 1.6-Megapixel camera on the front. This Desire phone runs on Android v4.1 (Jelly Bean) with HTC Sense 5 and Blinkfeed.
HTC Desire 600 supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0 A-GPS and GPS and is fueled by a 1,860 mAh battery that can sustain talk time up to 11 hours and about 500 hours of standby time. It also features speakers on the front with ‘BoomSound’ technology.
