Celkon Mobiles in India has launched a new budget dual-SIM phone (GSM+GSM) called Celkon C76 that incorporates support for the following eight Indian languages- Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. The phone, first unveiled in September 2013, is now available across online retailers and retail stores for Rs 1899/-.
The candy bar Celkon C76 features an alphanumeric keyboard and a 2.8 inch TFT QVGA screen with 240 x 320 pixel resolution, and for sound alerts its includes vibration, polyphonic and MP3 ringtones. On the rear is a 1.3megapixel camera to capture images and videos (video recording is supported at 1280 x 1024 pixels). There are no front cams on this phone. The microSD card slot can expand memory up to 8GB. A 1400mAh Li-ion battery provides the necessary running juices to the phone.For connectivity, it supports EDGE, GPRS, WLAN, Bluetooth and USB. The built in MP3/WAV player shall cater to the music lovers’ needs.

The Celkon C76 budget phone is available in three color variants- Chocolate, Silver and Black.
