According to Acer it’s now time for Iconia W4. Available in variants of 32GB and 64GB, the Acer Iconia W4 has hit Indian shores. The 32GB variant is priced at Rs.24,999 while the 64GB variant is priced Rs.26,999. Iconia W4 succeeds the Taiwanese technology major’s Iconia W3 released in June in India.

Acer’s latest offering is powered by an Intel Atom Z3740 ‘Bay Trail’ quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. As mentioned internal memory options are 32GB and 64GB with the flexibility to expand up to 32GB via a microSD card. The slate runs on Windows 8.1 that brings along Microsoft Office and Student 2013 Suite.

The slate holds 8-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels. Cameras are two. The primary shooter is a 5-megapixel camera on the rear side with the ability to auto focus while the secondary snapper is a 2-megapixel front facing camera. List of connectivity options include Micro USB, Bluetooth v3 and HDMI. The Battery within can fuel as much as 10 hours of internet surfing and 8 hours of video streaming.

Acer’s Iconia W4 weighs 415 grams and is 10.7mm thick. Along with the slate comes the Crunch keyboard with a Crunch cover attached that serves as a tablet stand.

Iconia W3 is powered by Intel’s 1.8GHz Atom Z2760 dual-core processor and 2GB RAM. This version of Iconia runs on Windows 8 and also has 32GB and 64GB variants to choose from. Memory can be stretched externally up to 64GB. This one sports a 8.1-inch multi-touch display that has 1280×800 pixels resolution and is equipped with cameras on the rear and front side, 2MP each.
