The world’s third largest TV manufacturer has finally set foot in the Indian consumer electronics market with its range of curve, Ultra HD and Full HD TV series, which will be available to Indian consumers via the e-commerce giant Amazon. TCL has a humongous presence in countries such as China and U.S.A and its expansion into India is a much expected strategic move that will boost its global revenue and also re-position its brand.
TCL unveiled 4 models of smart TV’s from its arsenal in Bengaluru today and all four of them will be available to Indian consumers via Amazon. Of the four models that have been unveiled, two belong to the P1 series and two to D2900 series. P1 series contains a 43 inch ultra HD TV and a 48 inch curved HD TV, whereas the D2900 series includes a 32 inch and 40 inch TV.
All the TV’s are smart with inbuilt storage and RAM for storing and running custom made apps, also both the series have Dolby surround sound with integrated speakers that guarantee a high quality sound output. The P1 series which is the more premium among the two has TCL nScreen application that allows a smartphone to act as a remote control for the TV, also the presence of Dolby Digital AC3 and Dolby Prologic 2 surround sound processor make the P1 series highly desirable for people looking to build a small home theater.
