Taiwanese technology giant HTC, on Thursday, announced the miniaturized version of HTC One. The HTC One Mini is similar to its big brother, the HTC One.
The Mini is powered by 1.4 GHz Dual-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor. HTC One, on the other hand, is driven by a 1.7 GHz Quad-Core processor. It comes packed with 1GB RAM and offers 16 GB of in-built memory. Expansion options for memory are absent. The device runs on Android v4.2 with HTC’s Sense 5 UI on the top.
HTC’s latest offering sports a 4.3-inch S-LCD2 screen with 720×1280 pixels resolution. It comes equipped with a 4-MP UltraPixel primary camera on the rear and a 1.6-Megapixel secondary camera on the front that facilitates video calling. Videos can be captured in 1080p. There’s also the HTC Zoe.
A 1,800 mAh battery infuses life into the device. It can sustain about 13 hours of talk time and offers 692 hours of standby time on 3G. Connectivity features include LTE, Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS.
HTC One Mini also has the same speakers with BoomSound technology. The design stays too although it isn’t all aluminium as HTC One, just the back side.
The Smartphone will be made available in Stealth Black and Glacial Silver colour options. It will make its entry into select markets in August and would reach other markets in September.
