With Father’s Day just around the corner, we’re sitting audience to some of the best short films on this special bond. Just recently we had shared an advertisement by Google India titled The Hero, which showed a father and son bonding over Bollywood. Today we have the beautiful short called Vanvaas, which highlights a strained relationship between a short-tempered father (Piyush Mishra) and a likewise son (Prabal Panjabi), and how they bond over the game of cricket.
The father’s pretty pissed at the son for not doing a job, while the son is more business-inclined and doesn’t care enough for a job. Ayesha Raza Mishra takes here real life relationship to reel, and delivers a subtle yet powerful rendering.
