Dhoom 3 is kicking in this December, and Yash Raj Films has already offered a new dish in its plate with the utterly raw Gunday. The film’s trailer narrates the story of two orphan friends Bikram and Baala (essayed by Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor respectively) who grow up from small time gun traders to coal thieves to important fearless figures in Coal mafia business. The premise is set on the India-Bangladesh partition of 1971. The trailer just talks of the two leading actors, though there’s a slight voice-over of Irrfan Khan in between, but there’s no trace of Priyanka Chopra at all. We surely hope it’s not a love triangle they’re packing. The energy looks good, and the entertainment factor sure seems sky high, and a love triangle would be just the perfect thing to smudge it all up.
Apart from Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor, the film stars Priyanka Chopra and Irrfan Khan in the lead. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Gunday is slated for 14th February 2014 release.
