Chinese mobile major Gionee has floated yet another budget smartphone. Gionee P2S has been launched with a price label that says Rs.6499 only. The smartphone has been listed on the company’s e-store is currently ‘out of stock’. Earlier the company had released CTRL V5 last month.
Gionee’s P2S is powered by a 1.3GHz Cortex A7 dual-core processor along with ARM Mali-400 MP GPU. The smartphone packs 512MB RAM and has 4GB of onboard storage space. Memory can be stretched up to 32GB using a microSD card. The phone supports Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS. A 1600mAh battery helps it survive up to 9 hours of talk time on 3G.
This Gionee device holds a 4-inch display with a resolution of 800×480 pixels. It’s equipped with a 5MP camera fixed on the rear panel along with LED flash support. The secondary camera on the front is a VGA snapper. The phone also supports dual SIM functionality (3G+2G). Connectivity options include the usual suspects 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4, GPS and Micro-USB. Colours to choose from are white, black, red and blue.
