Zync added another name to the growing list of widescreen tablets with the ‘Quad 10.1’. The price tag of Zync’s latest offering reads Rs 14,990/-.
As per Amul Mohan Mittal, Co-Founder, Zync Global, after the success of the Quad 8 and 9.7 tablets (launched in April) the company has shifted its focus towards the high-end affordable market in the country. He also highlighted that the Quad 10.1, packed with premium features, is being offered to customers at an affordable price.
The Quad 10.1 runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and is powered by a 1.5 GHz Quad-Core processor along with an Octa-core Mali-400 MP4 GPU. The tablet offers 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory. Externally, memory can be expanded up to 32 GB via a microSD card slot.
The tablet sports a 10.1” full HD IPS screen with capacitive touch and a pixel resolution of 1920×1200. It’s a dual camera device with a 5 megapixel camera on the rear side and a 2 megapixel camera on the front for video-calling. The Quad 10.1 is fueled by a Li-ion 8,000 mAh battery. It weighs about 471 gms and has an aluminium body finish.
Connectivity options that Quad 10.1 offers include WLAN, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi (with hotspot), microUSB with OTG support, HDMI port. It comes packed with plenty of applications like Adobe Flash Adobe Reader, Aldiko e-Book Reader, Google Play Store (Android Market), Google Maps Navigation, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, GTalk, Skype and Picasa Integration Organizer among others.
