Deepa Mehta’s movie Midnight’s Children, an adaptation of Salman Rushdie’s Booker Prize-winning novel by the same name, will release worldwide on November 2. This film dancing across screens in India is doubtful though, as it is yet to find local distributors. Maybe this is because some politicians are not really fond of Salman Rushdie, and his voice over in the movie could be a reason that distributors are not taking any chance in this regard.
