With gripping music and scintillating star power of SRK, the teaser of ‘Raees’ packs a hard punch and leaves the viewer asking for more. In one of the posters that was released earlier today, SRK sported a tough 70’s gangster look with the following tagline featured “Baniye ka dimaag aur Miyanbhai ki daring’!”
‘Raees’ is a joint venture by SRK’s Red Chillies and Excel Entertainment and is directed by Rahul Dholakia,who has also directed critically acclaimed and award winning movies like ‘Parzania’ and Mumbai Cutting. Pakistani actor Mahira Khan, who won many hearts worldwide through her performance in hit Pakistani Tele’s such as ‘Humsafar’, will make her Bollywood debut with ‘Raees’ and will be seen as the female lead in the film. ‘Farhan Akhtar’ was also rumored to be in the star cast but his name was absent in the cast revealed after the teaser. All we know as of know is that he is one of the producers of ‘Raees’.
The crime drama also stars ‘Nawazuddin Siddiqui’ in an important role.’Raees’ will hit the cinemas next Eid.That makes it a wait of exactly one year.
