Now Videocon has fielded its device in the Quad-Core arena. The Electronics giant floated the ‘A55HD’ smartphone with a price tag of Rs.13,499/-
The A55HD is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad-Core processor and 1GB of RAM. It runs on the latest Android v4.2.1 (Jelly Bean). The smartphone offers 4GB of internal memory expandable, externally, up to 32GB via a microSD card.
As the name suggests, the smartphone has a 5-inch HD display with ‘One Glass Solution’ (OGS) capacitive touch and 1280×720 pixel resolution.
Videocon’s latest offering is a dual-camera device with an 8-Megapixel primary camera on the rear equipped with auto focus and a 3.2-Megapixel camera on the front for video calling. It is fueled by a 2,000 mAh Li-Ionbattery. Connectivity options include 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth v4.0, microUSB v2.0 and A-GPS. The A55HD comes features like ‘Flip To Silent’ and ‘Face Detection’.
