Sony Xperia M2 has finally arrived in India. The smartphone priced Rs.21990 will be made available this week. Successor to Xperia M, the phone has Sony’s Omnibalance design and weighs 148 grams.
This Xperia device is powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 Quad-Core processor coupled with Adreno 305 GPU. It packs 1GB of RAM. The phone runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) OS but an update will follow. As much as 8GB of apps and data can be squeezed into it and if that ain’t enough then expand the storage space using a 32GB microSD card.
Xperia M2 holds a 4.8-inch qHD display (540×960 pixels resolution). The smartphone also supports dual SIM (GSM+GSM) functionality. The primary camera fixed on the rear panel is an 8MP snapper with EXMOR sensor and assisted by LED flash. The camera on the front is a VGA for selfies and video calls. It’s a 2300mAh battery that pumps life into this smartphone. The battery can survive 14 hours of talk time and offers 693 hours of standby time. List of connectivity options includes 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB and GPS.
Colours to choose from are purple, black and white. Sony Xperia M2 was first introduced to the world at this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
