The Best of Sony in Smartphone doesn’t seem to stop. Japanese giant Sony officially extended the ‘Xperia’ smartphone series with the newest additions ‘Xperia M’ and ‘Xperia M Dual’. The devices will hit tech stores across the globe in the third quarter of FY13.
Powered by a 1GHz Dual-Core Snapdragon S4 processor, the ‘Xperia M’ runs on Android v4.1 while ‘Xperia M Dual’ runs on Android v4.2. The new Xperia devices come packed with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory. Externally, memory can be expanded up to 32 GB with a microSD card.
The Smartphones sport a 4-inch TFT display and are dual camera devices. The 5-Megapixel primary camera comes with auto-focus, the secondary being a VGA camera. Sony’s new devices will be fueled by a 1,750 mAh battery. Connectivity options comprise of 3G, Bluetooth v4.0, NFC and Wi-Fi.
Colour options for both Xperia M and Xperia M Dual include White, Black and Purple.
