After being introduced as a member of the famed Xperia family back in June, Sony’s Xperia C has now been spotted online. The Smartphone is up for pre-order on popular e-commerce websites Flipkart and Saholic priced at Rs.20,940. The estimated release date, as on Flipkart, is second week of October.
The Xperia C is powered by a 1.2GHz MediaTek Quad-Core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It has 4GB of inbuilt memory space that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. It runs on Android v4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) OS. The Smartphone sports a 5-inch TFT qHD display with a resolution of 960×540 pixels. It also comes equipped with two cameras. The Primary camera is an 8-megapixel snapper with EXMOR R image sensor and LED flash fixed on the rear side. The Secondary camera is a VGA shooter that assists in video chats. Videos can be captured in full HD.
Connectivity options include 3G, PRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth v4.0, microUSB v2.0 and GPS/A-GPS. Xperia C packs a 2,390 mAh Li-Ion battery that survives 10 hours of talk time (3G) and offers 605 hours of standby time (3G). Colour options include White, Black and Purple.
