Samsung fattens its Galaxy portfolio by announcing Galaxy Grand and its dual-sim housing brother Galaxy Grand Duos on its official blog. The dual-sim model shall hit the market first stated the blog. Boasting a 5″ WVGA TFT display, the phone operates Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), has 1GB RAM, derives power from a 2,100mAh battery and runs a dual-core processor clocked 1.2GHz. It even shoulders an 8MP camera in the rear enabled with LED flash, while a 2MP camera manages the front. For connectivity, the Galaxy Grand supports 2G, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB and s Voice. It comes only in 8GB variant, but the memory could be expanded up to 64GB. Other features include Direct Call, Smart Alert, Popup Video and AllShare Play.
