OnePlus 2, the flagship killer from Chinese smartphone makers OnePlus will now be available around the world without any invites required. The company made this announcement officially on its blog. The OnePlus 2 got tagged as ‘invite-free’ from midnight of December 5.

Not just this the company also made OnePlus X invite-free all day from December 5th to 7th. Other deals from the company in this time frame include 50 per cent off on OnePlus 2 StyleSwap covers and a variety of discounts on different accessories. Also a limited number of first orders will get a Never Settle mousepad.
The OnePlus 2 is powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor with 1.8GHz Octa-Core CPU. This is paired with an Adreno 430 GPU. It has 4GB of LP-DDR4 RAM and 64GB of internal storage capacity. The smartphone runs on Android Lollipop based Oxygen OS 2.1 and depends on a 3300mAh embedded Li-Po battery for sustenance. The charging as well as data port utilize the services of the new Type-C standard.
The display it holds is a 5.5 inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass. The smartphone sports a 13 megapixel camera on the rear side that comes with six lenses to help avoid distortion and aberrations in colour. It is supported by dual-LED flash. The camera on the front side is a 5 megapixel shooter. This OnePlus device has two Nano SIM slots. Bouquet of connectivity option includes 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi and the regulars.
