Popular online shop Flipkart is all set to bring out the much awaited Moto Maxx. The e-commerce giant teased about the device in a tweet letting Moto fans know that they are going to unleash the ‘beast’ soon. “There’s a Moto beast coming your way…exclusively on Flipkart. Stay tuned for more details” read the tweet. The tweet also included an image indicating that the smartphone would be a ‘turbocharged’ one with ‘ballistic nylon fairing’.
The Motorola Maxx is truly a beast in every which way. The smartphone is powered by a 2.7GHz Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. There’s 64GB of internal storage capacity but that’s that (no external storage). It runs on Android KitKat OS but Android Lollipop is anticipated.
This Moto device holds 5.2-inch OLED display shielded by Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It sports a massive 21MP camera fitted on the rear panel. The camera on the front is a 2MP snapper for selfies. Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4, GPS/A-GPS, NFC and MicroUSB among others. But the feature of this device is the monstrous 3900mAh battery that it depends on for all the juice.
There has been no word on either the price or the availability though. So keep watching this space and we’ll update you on anything and everything about this ‘beast’ of a phone.
