Micromax says Happy New Year with Bolt A28 and Bolt A59. Both smartphones have been listed on Snapdeal. Micromax Bolt A28’s price tag reads Rs.3,674 while that of Bolt A59 says Rs.4,542. Though spotted online these MMX devices haven’t hit the market yet.
Focusing on to the specifications, first MMX Bolt A28 is powered by a 1GHz Cortex A5 processor coupled with Mali 300 GPU. It packs 1GB of RAM and has 512MB of onboard storage space that can be expanded further up to 32GB. This one runs on Android v2.3 (Gingerbread) OS. The smartphone holds a 3.5-inch TFT display with a resolution of 320×480 pixels.
Cameras are two, both VGA shooters with LED flash support on the rear panel. Bolt A28 supports dual SIM functionality (GSM+GSM) and depends on a 1500mAh Li-Ion battery for all the juice it needs. The battery offers 4.5 hours of talk time with 260 hours of standby time. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, USB, HDMI, GPRS and Bluetooth.
Micromax Bolt A59 is powered by a single-core 1GHz Spreadtrum SC7710 processor also coupled with a Mali 300 GPU. It has 256MB of RAM with 4GB of inbuilt memory storage expandable up to 16GB via microSD card. MMX Bolt A59 runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) OS. Also dependent on a 1500mAh battery that can survives 4 hours of talk time and offers 160 hours of standby time.
The display on Bolt A59 is 3.5-inch TFT that has a resolution of 320×480 pixels. Equipped with two cameras the primary one is a 2MP camera while the secondary camera is a VGA snapper. Connectivity options are Wi-Fi, USB, HDMI and Bluetooth. MMX Bolt A59 also supports dual SIM functionality (GSM+GSM).
