Micromax today introduced its nest offering under the Canvas portfolio- the A116 Canvas HD– that prides itself of some super impressive features and that too on a price tag that’ll reportedly be less than INR 15,000/-. The quad-core powered beauty derives power from a 2100mAh battery and sports a 5″ IPS display having 1280 x 720 resolution. Apart from 1GB RAM, it enjoys a PowerVR SGX5 GPU, and even has the dual-SIM superpower. The built-in storage is 4GB which is expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card. While the rear camera shoots strong at 8MP, the front camera captures a decent 0.3MP image.
Also, the A116 Canvas HD shall be the first smartphone from Micromax that operates Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, which shall be updates to Android 4.2 Jelly Bean following its launch. This smartphone would be available in the market from the first week of February.
