Mahindra Reva e2o, the second generation electric car by the Mahindra Group, is all geared up for an 18th March 2013 launch in the Indian auto market. With the next-generation lithium-ion batteries the car offers self-fueling capabilities to the user who can employ his normal plug-point of 15 amps in home or in workplace, and for a full recharge the e-car spans over a 100kms, which satisfies the average urban driver’s need and could very well be an ideal set of wheels in the city. The car’s even equipped with the Sun2Car technology developed in the company’s recently inaugurated plant in Bengaluru, which is also India’s first platinum certified automobile plant.
The green-and-clean car was first revealed at the Auto Expo during January 2012. The prices haven’t been given away as yet, but we are sure that the bracket would be quite high. Eagerly awaiting its release.
