LG launched its Android 4.0.4 ICS-based smartphone Optimus L9 in India for INR 23,000/-. Powered by a dual-core 1GHz processor, LG Optimus L9 boasts a 4.7″ IPS display (960 x 540 pixels res). It also features a 5MP camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera, has 1GB RAM, 4GB built-in storage and even a 2,150 mAh battery that could power 11.6 hours talktime on 3G. For connectivity, the Optimus L9 supports 3G, WiFi, DLNA, Bluetooth and A-GPS. Weighing 125 gms, the device fits into 131.9 x 68.2 x 9.1mm.
The smartphone even attributes LG’s QuickMemo, a note-taking app that allows users add notes/drawings to screenshots with just a few finger movements, and then share them on various social platforms. By employing its CheeseShutter feature, LG Optimus L9 allows users take photos simply by saying “cheese”. The keypad could be adjusted for one-hand or two-hand functions.
