In the smartphone war has entered a new potential fighter- Lenovo K900, the grand new phablet displayed during CES 2013 with Full HD 5.5-inch display screen, the Intel Atom Z2580 CoverTrail and Dual Core 2 GHz processor, is coming to India on 10th May for < Rs 25,000/- (an excellent steal considering the features it has packed within its impressive 6.9mm stainless steel and polycarbonate body).
Apart from the 1080p resolution IPS Display, the phone enjoys 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The rear camera is an impressive 13-megapixel shooter with autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection and uses a Sony Exmor RS BSI Sensor (another reason to go Whoa!), while the front cam is decent enough for video calls at 2-megapixels. Coming with pre-loaded Android 4.2.2 (latest Jelly Bean), the Lenovo K900 integrates the powerful Intel Atom Z2580-based 2GHz dual core CPU, and derives additional power out of PowerVR SGX544 GPU.
With the price tag of this phone being lighter that that of Samsung’s latest baby- the Galaxy S4- not by just a few hundreds, but by many thousands, it remains to be seen if this device finds its takers. And if it does, Samsung sure has a reason to sweat.
