India’s third largest mobile operator Idea today launched its latest 3G enabled handset Id 4000 3G. Priced Rs 4999, the smartphone shall be available in Idea 3G markets across 11 circles in the country. Idea has collectively sold more than 7 lakh handsets of its earlier 3G smartphones. Idea Id 4000 3G shall have special offers for 3G users, where it shall be offering up to 1.6GB 3G data and free Idea TV for three months, all in a price of Rs. 259 for existing subscribers, and Rs 261 for new subscribers.
Idea Id 4000 features a 4″ HVGA display with 320×480 pixel resolution, a 1GHz dual-core processor, runs Android Jelly Bean OS, 512MB of RAM, 512MB built-in storage, a microSD card slot, a 3.2-megapixel camera, and equipped within is a 1500mAh battery. For connectivity, the phone supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB and Bluetooth 4.0, and others
