Huawei has launched new Android 4.0 ICS tablets in India- the MediaPad 7 Lite and MediaPad 10. Both the tablets are armored in aluminium unibody shells.
MediaPad 7 Lite:
Powered by Cortex A8 1.2GHz processor and featuring a 7″ 1024×600 IPS HD touchscreen, the tablet enjoys a 3.2MP rear cam and a 0.3MP front cam, and supports 3G and WiFi for connectivity. With a decent price tag of INR 13,700, this is one killer buy, and is available as of now in Croma, Reliance Digital Stores and Flipkart.
MediaPad 10:
Powered by a Cortex-A9 1.4GHz quad-core processor, this 10.1″ beauty enjoys a 1920 x 1200, 16:10 ratio, IPS display and is only 8.8mm thin. The rear cam is 8 mega-pixel strong, while the front camera has power of 1.3MP. For connectivity, the tablet supports 3G, WiFi and also 150Mbps LTE (compatible with 84Mbps HSPA+). The 6,600mAh battery claims to power up 10 hours of continuous usage. The keyboard add-on explores the likelihood of MediaPad 10 FHD converting to an UltraBook. No details regarding its price have been let out, and also the Jelly Bean update is a hush-hush, but is expected somewhere around the release of this tab in December this year.
