HTC has officially floated its smartphones Desire 616 and One E8 in India. Desire 616, priced Rs.16,900, will made be available starting next week while the opportunity to lay hands on One E8 lies towards the end of this month. HTC One E8 comes with a price tag that reads Rs.34,990. HTC’s Desire 616 is powered by a 1.4GHz Octa-Core processor along with Mali 450-GP4 GPU and 1GB of RAM. HTC assures accelerated use with swift toggling between apps, snappy multi-tasking and smooth graphic display during high-quality gaming. There’s 4GB of storage space onboard. Memory can be expanded further up to 32GB using a microSD card. The smartphone supports Android coupled with HTC’s BlinkFeed that allows customization of latest streams to the homescreen. This HTC device supports dual SIM functionality.
HTC Desire 616 holds an HD display 5-inch in size. The primary camera is an 8MP shooter on the rear panel with the ability to auto focus. The secondary camera mounted on the front side is a 2MP snapper. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. Battery is a removable rechargeable 2000mAh that offers 700 hours of standby time and up to 14 hours of talk time on 3G.
HTC One E8 is blessed with a dual curve design. The sides are tapered, display stretches from edge to edge and the frame is lightweight. It is driven a Snapdragon 801 Quad-Core processor with 2.5GHz clock speed. There’s 2GB of RAM with 16GB of onboard storage capacity that can be expanded externally up to 128GB via a microSD card. This one runs on Android 4.4.2 with HTC Sense UI on top coupled with BlinkFeed.
The display on HTC’s One E8 is a 5-inch full HD. Battery capacity is 2600mAh with 504 hours of standby time and 26.8 hours of talk time on 3G.
