Last week, Indian Nerve had spotted the dual SIM successor of the Desire 600 model, the HTC Desire 600c on the company’s India website. Now new reports have surfaced indicating towards the launch of HTC Desire 601 aka ‘Zara’ too. The Miniaturized version of Zara would be known as HTC Z3. Both smartphones are expected to be launched sometime this year. Not much is known on the price front.
Zara will be driven by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 Dual-Core processor along with 1GB RAM. It would have as much as 8GB of internal storage to offer. Storage capacity could be stretched externally with a microSD card. It will run on Android v4.3 (Jelly Bean) OS with HTC Sense 5.5. The Smartphone will hold a 4.5-inch qHD display with a resolution of 960×540 pixels. It will be powered by a 2,100 mAh battery. The device will also be equipped with an 8-megapixel camera on the rear side.
HTC Desire 600c has already taken its place on the launchpad. This latest entrant in the HTC Desire club is powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 Quad-Core processor and packs 1GB DDR2 RAM. It would run Android Jelly Bean either v4.1 or 4.2 but not v4.3. This HTC device also sports an 8-megapixel shooter on the rear side along with a 1.6-megapixel camera on the front that facilitates video calling. A 1,860 mAh Li-polymer battery fuels the Desire 600c. Connectivity options include 3G, GPRS, NFC, Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), DLNA, HTC Connect among others.
