Tech-giant Google’s new Nexus smartphones shall enter Indian market between October 10-14, a couple days before Apple iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus go on sale. IANS pinpoints on the release date of the two new Nexus smartphones – Huawei Nexus 6P and LG Nexus 5X – as October 13th. The prices of the two phones were listed in the Google Store India shortly after launch – the Nexus 5X priced at Rs. 31,900/- for 16GB storage variant and the 32GB variant is priced at Rs. 35,900/-, while the Nexus 6P is priced at Rs. 39,999/- for the 32GB variant, and Rs. 42,999/- for the 64GB variant.
In a first for a Nexus smartphone, Nexus 6P is a full-metal device built of aluminum, has a 5.7-inch QHD (1440 x 2560 pixel resolution) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It features a 12.3-megapixel rear camera that supports 4K and slow-motion video recording, and an 8-megapixel front camera with HDR+ for smooth video calling. It derives power off a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 v2.1 SoC with 3GB of LPDD4 RAM unit, and relies on a 3450mAh battery with Quick Charge support offering up to 7 hours worth of charge in 10 minutes. It even has dual-front-ported speakers. These are the color variants you could choose from – Frost White, Aluminium, and Graphite.

It derives power off a 1.8GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 SoC and has 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM unit. It features a 12.3-megapixel rear camera with 4K and slow-mo video capture support, and a 5-megapixel front camera with HDR+ for seamless video calling. Equipped within is a 2700mAh battery with Quick Charge support, which offers up to 3.8 hours of charge in 10 minutes. Available color variants – Carbon Black, Quartz White, and Ice Blue.
