Fanboys, witness! Comic Con India presents Indian Championships of Cosplay, where the best local cosplayers shall get a shot at Chicago Comics & Entertainment Expo 2016 to prove there mettle. The finalists from several city-wise Comic Con events (Delhi/Mumbai/Hyderabad/Bangalore) last year are already shortlisted, and your votes shall be deciding who among these shall be representing India at Chicago.
Jatin Varma, Founder, Comic Con India expressed his excitement over this new initiative, and stated that after bagging the grand-prize awards at the city-wise events, the top ten cosplayers are now in line to become national champions and represent India at an international level. He sincerely hopes that this initiative helps expand this championship and grows the cosplay-community in India.

From 13 cosplayers in the first ever convention five years ago, they have come to register more than 2000 cosplayers at the latest film and comic convention in Mumbai, and the stage is only set to get bigger.
