Auto giant Bajaj Auto, on Tuesday, launched the all new KTM 390 Duke with a price tag of Rs.1.8 Lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The KTM 390 Duke is the second motorcycle to roll out of Bajaj-KTM’s stable after the KTM 200 Duke.
The Mid-sized sports bike, courtesy its 373.2cc engine, produces a power of 43.5 Ps and torque of 35 Nm. It can zoom to 100kmph in just 6 seconds and can touch speeds up to 160kmph. The bike comes with Metzeler tyres, fuel injection, aluminium alloy wheels and swing arm and ABS.
Bookings begin June 26 onwards as the bike will be sold through 71 KTM showrooms across India.
Speaking on the occasion Mr.Amit Nandi, Vice President Bajaj Probiking said-
“With its powerful engine, light weight and easy handling the 390 Duke will be equally rewarding both for the professional rider as well as the enthusiast. KTM is a sharply differentiated brand which in a short span of time is the largest selling premium motorcycle brand in India. This position would be further strengthened with the launch of the 390 Duke.”
The KTM 390 Duke was conceptualized and brought to life at Bajaj’s facility at Chakan in Maharashtra. According to Bajaj Auto, the introduction of the Duke has created a new segment of motorcycles in both domestic and global markets and hence there would be no direct competition to the vehicle.
