Bajaj Discover 100M shares a lot with its other Discover brothers in terms of looks and performance. It derives power off the trusted 102cc 4-stroke DTS-i technology equipped engine, delivering 9.3 hp and 9Nm of torque- the same that Discover 100T enjoys. Official launch of Bajaj’s latest baby is scheduled October 15th, during a press conference presided over by Mr. K Srinivas, President of Motorcycle Business, Bajaj Auto Limited. It is during this event that the specs and pricing shall be made public. The expected base price for Bajaj Discover M is around Rs 45,000 (ex-showroom, Pune).The 100M stands strong on single down-tube, dual cradle steel frame with telescopic suspension in front, while dual Nitrox shock absorbers bolted to a rectangular section support the rear. Drum brakes cater at the front and back to provide the necessary stooping power. The versions shall be available with optional petal-type disc brakes. For colors, the Discover 100M shall be available in red, blue and black with red/blue/yellow decals.
The company’s expansion plan features several lineups in this very financial year, and two new Pulsars along with quite a many Discovers have already been announced, prices of all featuring between Rs 40,000 to Rs 50,000, while only two models breach this range to get featured in Rs 50,000-Rs 60,000 bracket.
