After joining hands with megastar Amitabh Bachchan for his much talked about TV series, director Anurag Kashyap has extended his star cast with two more respected names. Actors Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Kay Kay Menon will also be seen in Kashyap’s venture.
Another name associated with Kashyap’s TV show is Tigmanshu Dhulia. Dhulia who directed Bullett Raja slated for November 29 release, will return to the small screen only this time as an actor. The director of the national award winning movie Paan Singh Tomar had played the character of Ramadhir Singh in Kashyap’s Gangs of Wasseypur and was last seen as Maqbool Memon in recently released Shahid.
The TV fiction will be produced by Bachchan’s own Saraswati Creations along with Endemol India. It will feature Big B as a construction giant. One of the sequences in the show required the veteran actor to look as much as 20 years younger, images of which recently surfaced online. According to him the entire process was both ‘hilarious’ and ‘inconvenient’.
“The desperate attempts to make me look 20 years younger for the sequence at the shoot, was hilarious… to say the least!! How conveniently easy it is to age rapidly, but how inconveniently long it takes to push time back,” Big B wrote on his blog.
