Aircel has rolled out a unique data plan in it’s data portfolio — Pocket Internet 24 (PI-24) — that offers 100 Mb data to its virtually connected users for a meager Rs. 24, and the plan stays valid for 30 days. The main aim of launching this plan is to lure those customers who never experienced internet on their phones owing to low awareness. With surfing the net and downloading various applications being lesser than Re. 1 per day, this plan is sure to attract a major segment of people who fear overspending on their data, and the increased validity at such lower cost implies that customers get a great amount of time to make use of that data, stated Chief Marketing Officer of Aircel, Anupam Vasudev.
Pocket Internet 24 shall be made available in the North East, J&K, Orissa, West Bengal, Bihar and Tamilnadu. The plan will see light in the remaining circles on April 24th this year.
