Rovio and Sony Pictures have revealed a new trailer for the Angry Birds Movie, which is basically an origin story establishing the conflict between the birds and the pigs.
Based on the incredibly successful game franchise (which became a major phenomenon since its 2009 mobile debut), this 3D animated film stars the main trio of Angry Birds – Red (Jason Sudeikis), Speedy Chuck (Josh Gad) and the volatile Bomb (Danny McBride). Other supporting voice-stars include Bill Hader, Maya Rudolph, Peter Dinklage, Kate McKinnon, Keegan-Michael Key, Tony Hale, Ike Barinholtz and Hannibal Buress.
Written by Jon Vitti (The Simpsons) and directed by Fergal Reilly and Clay Kaytis, The Angry Birds Movie is all set for a theatrical release on June 2 (India). Watch the trailer below and let us know what you think of it. Will the movie be as popular as the game?
