Abhishek Kapoor’s adaptation of an average book, ‘Three mistakes of my life’, was better than its source. ‘Kai Po Che’ had garnered rave reviews from the critics and also earned good money at the Box Office which prompted Kapoor to get his third project rolling but this time he has made a better choice of the source by adapting the classic ‘Great Expectations’ by Charles Dickens into a feature film starring Katrina Kaif,Rekha and Aditya Roy Kapur, who will be reprising the role of Phillip Pirrip, also known as Pip.
The first leg of shooting for the film had commenced in January this year in Kashmir. Kapoor plans to wrap up the shoot by mid 2015 and have the rest of the time for post production and marketing.
The adapted film will be called ‘Fitoor’ and will be released on 12th February 2016.
