Fly Mobiles has announced that it has three new smartphones to offer. The budget smartphones – Qik, Qik+ and Snap are now available exclusively with popular e-retailer Snapdeal. Fly’s latest offerings are a part of its efforts to penetrate the Indian market again. The new smartphones, all priced below Rs.7000, pack enough to give their competitors a tough time or maybe they have started already. According to Snapdeal.com all three smartphones have sold out.
Fly’s Qik is powered by a 1.7GHz Octa-Core MediaTek processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and Mali 450 GPU. There’s 8GB of internal storage space that can be extended up to 32GB using a microSD card. The device runs on Android KitKat OS and is fueled by a 2000mAh battery. It holds a 4.5-inch IPS display (854×480 pixel resolution) that uses OGS technology. The primary camera on the rear side is 8MP with the ability to auto focus while the secondary on the front side is 5MP. The price tag attached reads Rs.5999.
Next up is Qik+. The specifications of it pretty much same as those of the Qik. It too is driven by a 1.7GHz Octa-Core processor along with 1GB RAM. Qik+ can accommodate 8GB of data as memory can be further expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. The Screen however, is slightly larger than Qik’s. Qik+ sports a 5-inch HD IPS display. Also the primary camera fitted on the back panel is 13MP while the secondary camera is 5MP. This Fly device runs on Android KitKat OS, depends on a 2200mAh battery for juice and has been priced at Rs.6999.
Shifting focus to Fly Snap that has been priced Rs.2999. The Snap has a 1.3GHz Quad-Core processor. There’s 512MB RAM and 4GB of memory within. Storage capacity can be stretched up to 16GB. The rear camera is 5MP supported by flash while the one on the front side is 2MP. A 1500mAh battery is what keeps this device alive while Android KitKat OS runs it.
