Taiwanese giant ASUS has floated the EeeBook X205 notebook in India. The price label that comes attached with it reads Rs.14999/-. The EeeBook is now available in the country courtesy popular online retailer Flipkart. Other Asus stores will have the notebook starting February. The EeeBook X205 supports Windows 8.1.
The Asus device sports an 11.6-inch HD display with 1366×768 pixels resolution. The X205 is powered by Intel Bay Trail-T Z3735 quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of DDR3L RAM and Intel HD Graphics. There’s 32GB of inbuilt storage space that can be stretched up to 128GB using a microSD card.
This EeeBook comes equipped with a front-facing VGA camera. Other features and connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, micro HDMI port and two USB 2.0 ports. The notebook depends on a 38Whrs polymer battery for all the juice it needs that can help it survive 12 hours of web surfing, 13hours of music playing and 11 hours of video playing. It’s 17.5mm thick and weighs about 980gms.
The notebook has two front-facing SonicMaster speakers right beneath the palm rest. It also comes loaded with Microsoft Office 365 with one year’s subscription of Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and other MS applications along with 1TB of online cloud space.

The EeeBook X205 was first introduced to the world last September at the IFA 2014 held in Berlin.
