Indian born electronics giant Xolo, today announced a new addition in its smartphone range named as Q1011, an Android Kitkat OS based smartphone priced at Rs. 9999. Exclusively launched at online marketplace Amazon, the new smartphone is made keeping Indian customers in mind. Cheap price and latest technology support are two main things on which company seems to have looked upon.
Xolo Q1011 sports a massive 5-inch HD IPS screen display having resolution of 1200 x 720 pixels. Powered by 1.3 GHz Quad-core processor, the phone has 1GB of RAM along with dual GPU cores cloaked to 500 MHz, which ensures its rich texture and advance graphics performance. The smartphone runs of Android Kitkat version of OS and is equipped with Google’s latest ‘Google Now’ feature. Taking it further, Xolo Q1011 features new gestures that unlock it from sleep, it all works through a proximity sensor which grasps the gestures and triggers an action. As said earlier, company seems to use technology to fullest.
The smartphone fits two advanced cameras under its hood, the rear one is of 8 megapixel capacity with BSI sensor, and the one on front side is a 2 megapixel snapper. Both the cameras are made to perform under low light areas. For storage, the phone has 4GB of available space which could be expanded up to 32 GB via a microSD card. The phone also supports USB OTG, which expands its horizon in storage capacity.
Fitting a 2250 mAh Li-Pol battery, the company promises standby time of up to 550 hours on 2G and 509 hours on 3G along with a talk time of up to 26.82 hours on 2G and 13.55 hours on 3G, all these with a decent music playback time of up to 86.53 hours.
