At the core of the film ‘Titli’ is a young boy who wishes to escape the clutches of a oppressive brother and an illegal car-jacking family business. He plans, plots, cheats and maybe even kills to run away from the web, but in the process he realizes that he has become exactly like the person he’s planning to escape from. Yash Raj Films and Dibakar Banerjee present this hard-hitting film starring Ranvir Shorey, Amit Sial and Shashank Arora, based in the most extreme of Delhi badlands. The music for this film has been rendered by the Wasseypuri-delight Sneha Khanwalkar. Sharat Katariya and Kanu Behl have written the film, while Behl has also directed the movie. This would be his great directorial debut.
Titli is all set to make its world premiere in the ‘Un Certain Regard’ category at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival.
