Taiwanese tech giant HTC’s Desire 310 has hit the market in India. The smartphone has been spotted with popular online shopping mart Snapdeal and other e-commerce portals for price Rs.11,700. It was listed on the company’s official website earlier this month.
HTC’s latest from the Desire series is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek quad-core processor along with 512MB of RAM. There’s 4GB of internal storage space that can be expanded externally up to 32GB with a microSD card. It runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS coupled with HTC’s Sense 5.1 UI. Then there’s BlinkFeed to have your customized feed of online content from Facebook, Twitter and Google. The smartphone’s equipped with twin cameras. The Primary camera has a resolution of 5MP and can capture videos in full HD (1080p). The Secondary on the other hand is a VGA snapper.
The Desire 310 features a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 480×854 pixels. The phone supports dual-SIM functionality. It packs a 2,000mAh Li-polymer battery that can sustain 11 hours of talk time and offers 852 hours of standby time on 3G. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
Next in pipeline for HTC is One M8 that will be launched next month. The smartphone has already impressed one and all with its specifications and features. Powered by a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, HTC One M8 packs 2GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) OS with HTC Sense 6.0 UI on the top. The device will be available in 16GB and 32GB variants as memory can be expanded externally up to 128GB. The camera behind is an UltraPixel Duo while the one on the front is a 5MP camera. This HTC device depends on a 2600mAh battery that charges at a rate 40 per cent faster than the ususal.
