Gionee Elife E7, successor to Elife E6 has been floated in India. Available in 16GB and 32GB variants, the 16GB rendition is worth Rs.26,999 while the 32GB version has a price tag of Rs.29,999 attached. The Elife E7 was introduced to the world in an event held in Shanghai last month. An obvious improvement over E6, Gionee’s latest offering also packs some interesting camera features.
The smartphone holds a 5.5-inch full HD IPS display (400ppi pixel density) with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Equipped with two cameras, the primary snapper on the rear side is a 16MP camera (BSI sensor) with the ability to autofocus and is assisted by LED flash support. The camera on front is an 8MP shooter. The Gionee device packs a 2,500mAh battery that fuels it.
The 4G-enabled variant of the smartphone is powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor while the 3G variant is driven by a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 processor. Both processors have been coupled with Adreno 330 GPU. The RAM within will depend on the size of internal memory. While the 16GB Elife E7 will have 2GB of RAM the 32GB version will feature 3GB RAM. There’s Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) OS with Amigo 2.0 UI on top. Connectivity options include the usual Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4, NFC and A-GPS.
