XOLO’s Nvidia Tegra 3 driven tablet ‘Play Tab 7.0’ is now up for grabs. The tablet has a price label attached that reads Rs.12,999. The launch of Play Tab 7.0 means next in line should be the much-awaited XOLO Play Tegra Note tablet that was introduced in India last month. This Tegra 4 driven slate is expected to be priced at Rs.16,999.
The Play Tab 7.0 is powered by a 1.2GHz Nvidia’s Tegra 3 Quad-Core processor coupled with ULP GeForce GPU and 1GB of RAM. It runs on Android v4.1 (Jelly Bean) OS and offers up to 8GB of inbuilt memory space with an option for external expansion up to 32GB via a microSD card. A 4,000 mAh battery fuels the Play Tab. This XOLO device holds a 7-inch IPS LCD display (1280×800 pixels resolution). List of connectivity options features Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and microUSB but no 3G.
Speaking on the occasion Sunil Raina, Business Head, XOLO said- “Xolo Play Tab 7.0 marks the first tablet in the XOLO Play category of products, powered by NVIDIA Tegra. Similar to XOLO Play T1000 smartphone launched in July, the tab delivers similar entertainment now on a bigger 7-inch screen”.
The XOLO T1000 smartphone is powered by Nvidia’s Quad-Core 1.5GHz Tegra 3 processor with 12-Core ULP GeForce GPU and 1GB RAM. This XOLO device also supports Android v4.1 (Jelly Bean) OS and has 4GB of onboard storage expandable up to 32GB. It sports a 4.7-inch IPS OGS HD display and has twin cameras. The Primary camera has 8-megapixel rsolution while the secondary camera is a 2-megapixel snapper.
