Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has emerged as the most dangerous celebrity in the Indian cyberspace, replacing adult film star Sunny Leone who topped the ‘most dangerous’ list last year. A study conducted by software and antivirus maker McAfee showed that Sunny Leone dropped to the 9th position this year. Apart from Priyanka Chopra, the Top five in the list included Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor-Khan and Akshay Kumar.Why so dangerous?Hackers use celebrity names to hack accounts and systems fo celeb-crazy fans who keep searching for latest online content and images of their favorite star. The search entries include ‘wallpaper’, ‘videos’ and ‘nude images’ mostly redirecting to malicious malware-laden sites. McAfee India Centre VP Engineering (Consumer and Mobile Business Group) Venkatasubrahmanyam Krishnapur said, “In India where celebrities enjoy demigod status, cyber criminals often use their names to lure people to sites which host malicious software designed to compromise personal details and disrupt devices.”Priyanka Chopra had 79 infected search results to her name, while Shah Rukh featured in 75 malicious websites. Salman followed close with his name included in 68 affected sites. The other 5 in the top-10 list included Saif Ali Khan, megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Farhan Akhtar, Sunny Leone and Hrithik Roshan.
